A day after registering a zero FIR against the Police Sub-Inspector Virag Pawar in a rape case, the Margao police has forwarded the FIR to the police at Kolhapur for further investigations.
Even as the PSI has been placed under suspension by the Goa police following the registration of the FIR, police sources informed that the PSI Virag has been on leave for some time now.
Margao police station in-charge, PI Tulsidas Naik informed that the Margao police has sent the zero FIR registered against the PSI to the Kolhapur police for further investigations. Since the alleged incident of rape had taken place in the jurisdiction of the Kolhapur police, it is for the police there to investigate and take the case to the logical conclusion.
