Power rebate scam: DySP replies to show cause notice

After the Special Additional Sessions Judge, Vincent D’Silva in the power rebate scam issued a show cause notice for non-serving of summons to the witnesses, the DySP, Crime Branch filed his reply before the court on Thursday.

The DySP replied to the show cause notice explaining how the summons could not be served on the four witnesses who were summoned by the court for deposition in the case.

Meanwhile, the Public Prosecutor, D Korgaonkar has filed an application under section 294 of the CrPC before the court.
