Rape-accused Nayyar’s remand extended by Children’s Court

PANAJIThe Goa Children’s Court hasremanded rape-accused VarunNayyar to additional fivedays police custody.Kunal who was arrested onSunday on charges of rapinga minor, differently-abled girlafter taking her on a drive inhis car was initially remandedfor three days police custody.He has been charged undersections of the Prevention ofChildren from Sexual OffencesAct and the Goa Children’sAct. Nayyar, 30, who is theson of the owner of a popularchain of restaurants was arrestedafter the girl’s parentsfiled a complaint as narratedto them by the girl.
