Naik visited all the wards and the OPD to observe the situation in the hospital.
Speaking to reporters, Naik raised eye brows over lack of facilities in the hospital since last couple of days. "Former Valpoi MLA has neglected the hospital," stated Naik.
"After repeated demands, the problems are not solved. Breakdown and shortage of diesel quota to generator, operation theatre is not functioning. There is no full-time child specialist in the hospital and also there is no gynecologist," said Naik.
"Many times, patients suffer when there is no electricity and generator operations are affected due to the shortage of diesel," said Naik. "If possible, I will raise this issue in the House on Monday," he added.
