There’s a ray of hope that the SAG swimming pools will be renovated and refurbished in the near future.
During his surprise visit to the swimming pool at Fatorda, Gaude personally saw for himself the amenities lacking at the pool. After an inspection with officials, Gaude assured the swimmers that work on the renovation of the swimming pools should hopefully start within eight days. “I have issued instructions to the sports authorities to complete the formalities so that work can start within eight days. I have taken the responsibility of making available the swimming pools to the people,” he added.
