There has been restricted water supply to entire Bardez taluka from Tuesday to Thursday, following a fault in the 30 MLD plant in Assonora water treatment plant.
On Tuesday afternoon, a fault occurred in the transformer of the 30 MLD plant at the water treatment plant, which affected treatment of water. The staff tried to fix the problem but they were unsuccessful.
On Wednesday, experts were brought in by the Water Resources Department to repair the fault the project.
These experts took up the repair work and fixed the technical glitch by late Wednesday night.
However, the water supply department has issued a public notice stating that there will be restricted water supply in the entire Bardez on Thursday 8.
