Restricted water to Bardez
MAPUSA: There will be restricted water supply to the entire taluka of Bardez and parts of Bicholim taluka on April 20, due to power disruption at Assonora water treatment plant (WTP).
There was no power supply to Assonora WTP from 7.30 am to noon on Tuesday due to maintenance work carried out by the electricity department at the feeder.
“The water pumping activity was affected due to restricted supply of power at the treatment plant for almost half a day. On account of that there will be restricted water supply in Bardez and parts of Bicholim on Wednesday,” said M Chavan, executive engineer, PWD, North Goa.
He, however, assured consumers that normal water supply will be restored from April 21.
