PANAJI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will address a rally in Goa on May 22, the party’s leadership in the state has announced.
Speaking to media persons at a press conference, party national spokesperson Ashutosh announced that the visit of the Delhi Chief Minister was in response to a demand from the people of Goa during their interactions with voters in the state.
“People of Goa were amazed to see the progress of the result oriented, people friendly, non-corrupt and honest govt in Delhi. People of Goa, when explained by the AAP Goa volunteers, about the performance of the Delhi Govt, were interested in hearing from the man, Arvind Kejriwal himself,” he said.
“Kejriwal has accepted the invitation of the people of Goa and is coming to Goa to embrace the people with all the cheerfulness and affection,” he said.
Kejriwal will address a rally on May 22. The AAP Goa has started a massive ‘Goa Jodo’ or unite Goa campaign and has been visiting voters door to door to enlist their support for the upcoming assembly elections in the state.
