As part of its initiative ‘Let’s Help Goa’, Revolutionary Goans (RG) launched a drive to sanitise public places and homes of Covid-affected families and to offer food and water to those standing in queues for Covid tests at the Canacona Community Health Centre (CHC).
Since Monday, RG volunteers carried out sanitisation of public places in Canacona such as the KTC bus stand complex, municipal market, municipal administrative office, Canacona CHC, bus stops, pharmacies, ATMs and entrances to major grocery stores like the Goa Bagayatdar Bazaar, RTO office, ADEI office and other public spaces.
The RG also carried out free house sanitisation of Covid-infected people who have since completed quarantine/isolation period. Till Thursday, 16 such houses have been sanitised and RG has asked needy households to contact them on their WhatsApp number (7038887702) for free sanitisation of their houses.
The RG also distributed food packets and water bottles to people standing in queues for Covid tests at the Canacona CHC.
“Now that there are no queues at the test centre, we have stopped providing food packets and water bottles, but we will resume the service to provide food and water to people,” said RG's 'Let’s Help Goa' Canacona Taluka Coordinator Prashant Pagi.
