The Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) President Manoj Parab has informed that the party would move a resolution in the forthcoming Assembly demanding the regularisation of all contract workers.
Parab was speaking after meeting the striking Bal Rath drivers and attendants who are on indefinite strike at Azad Maidan from Monday.
“RGP will move a resolution to regularise all contract staff, including Bal Rath staff, home guards, security guards, etc.,” Parab stated, while adding that the resolution will include other demands as well.
“If the other MLAs are really interested about the welfare of the contract workers, then they would support the resolution,” Parab added.
St Andre MLA Viresh Borkar and other RGP leaders were also present.
