Rider booked for rash driving in Canacona

A man from Shristhal has been booked on charges of riding a motorcycle in a rash and negligent manner, thereby causing injuries to a scooter rider and damaging a car parked by the roadside at Chaudi–Canacona.

According to Canacona police, Yaman Gayak was riding a Royal Enfield motorcycle while proceeding from Canacona towards Shristhal, when the motorcycle collided with a scooter proceeding from the Mamlatdar’s office towards Chaudi direction and further struck a car parked by the roadside.

With the impact, Gayak and the scooter rider, Vedikar Daikar, of Amone-Canacona sustained injuries.

Canacona police booked Gayak u/s 281, 125 (a) of BNS for riding in rash and negligent manner endangering human life and further investigation is being carried out by Canacona HC Anand Pagi.
