PERNEM:
A scooter rider from Naibag-Pernem was seriously injured in an accident at the NH66 highway junction near Naibag on Wednesday around 3.30 pm.
The incident took place when the two-wheeler, driven by Sadanand Teli, struck the car from the rear. He was injured in the mishap and was shifted to a hospital in Mapusa. Pernem police is investigating the case.
