MAPUSA:
Two riders were injured in a fight after the mirrors of their two-wheelers grazed each other at Moira on Wednesday evening.
According to reports, the incident took place at about 6.30 pm, when Valroy Dias of Calizor-Moira and Purushottam Verlekar of Atafonde-Moira were proceeding in the opposite direction on an internal road near the Moira Panchayat Ghar.
The mirrors of their two-wheelers grazed each other and this led to an argument between the two riders. The argument turned violent when both riders began assaulting each other and both sustained injuries in the fight.
A Mapusa police team rushed to the spot and admitted both of them to hospital. Verlekar was discharged after treatment while Dias was referred to the GMC hospital for further treatment.
Both riders have filed counter-complaints against each other and Mapusa police are investigating the case.
