Due to the ongoing road works near GMC Hospital at Bambolim, motorists are facing a harrowing task while travelling along the narrow roads and now, exposed rods have further added danger to the already difficult situation.
The protruding rods are located at the start of the flyover, when travelling from Santa Cruz towards Bambolim, with fear being expressed that it adds to the already dangerous situation faced by motorists, particularly two-wheeler riders.
Speaking to The Goan, a resident of Santa Cruz who travels by the road daily informed that since the past few days the exposed rods have been kept protruding out, without any protection or warning to motorists.
“The motorists are already facing a tough time just to get past the narrow road stretch and these exposed rods pose additional danger, particularly to two-wheeler riders,” the resident feared.
