A roadside wall collapsed at Curti while roads were flooded at many places as heavy rains lashed Ponda and Dharbandora talukas on Tuesday.
The roadside wall suddenly came crashing down at Antrujnagar-Curti, but there were no casualties as vehicles were not travelling on the road when the incident took place.
Elsewhere, a tree collapsed near the Venkatesh Leela Hotel in Bandora and narrowly missed falling on a car which was parked on the road near the tree.
Ponda fire and emergency personnel rushed to the spot and cleared the tree.
Roads were flooded at many places in Ponda and Dharbandora talukas on account of the incessant rains on Tuesday.
