RS MP reviews MPLAD projects

Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade on Tuesday announced that two school buses, a hearse van and three newly constructed classrooms are among various projects to become operational under the Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) in Goa.

The four completed initiatives are part of 17 projects recommended under MPLADS by Tanavade, spanning various constituencies in North and South Goa.

During a review meeting at the Secretariat in Porvorim, chaired by Chief Secretary V Candavelou, Tanavade urged officials to ensure timely execution of the remaining sanctioned projects, stressing the importance of transparency and coordination.

In a press release, the MP also appreciated the role of district collectors and staff in driving progress and addressing challenges on the ground.
