When the case came up for hearing before Principal Sessions Judge, Desmond D’Costa on Thursday morning, all the accused persons, including the contractor, the Ruby directors and the government officials and their lawyers were present in the court room.
Judge D’Costa later adjourned the hearing of the case to October 7.
The Canacona police has filed a chargesheet against the 11 accused persons.
In the chargesheet, the police has alleged that on January 4, 2014 at around 2.30 pm, the accused persons being builders, contractor and the government officials connected with the construction of the five-storied building at Ruby construction site at Chaudi-Canacona, constructed/acted in a rash and negligent manner endangering human lives.
