Russian booked for lacking valid travel documents

MAPUSA:

Anjuna police have registered a case against a Russian national for staying in Goa without valid travel documents, in violation of the Foreigners Act.

According to the police, the incident came to light following a complaint filed by ANC PSI Manjunath Naik.

On December 9, at around 9.10 pm, the accused, identified as 26-year-old Daniil Kytuakov, was found residing in Oxel, Siolim, without possessing the required travel documents.

The accused was booked under Section 7(1) and Section 7(3) (iii) of the Foreigners Order, 1948, and Section 14 of the Foreigners Act, 1946.

Anjuna police have confirmed that further investigations are underway to ascertain the circumstances of Kytuakov’s stay and to take appropriate action as per the law.
