Vakhann’nni, the choir and ensemble group will be having their Sacred music concert in honour of His Eminence Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrao.
The motive behind this concert is to praise and thank God for the gift of Cardinal Ferrao in the Archdiocese of Goa for the first time in history after 456 years. This concert which will raise hearts and mind to God for the gift of His Eminence, will be organised by the parishioners of Holy Spirit Church, Margao.
The Vakhann’nni group consists of not only the parishioners of Holy Spirit but also from various neighbouring and far villages from North Goa and South Goa. In this concert, most of the sacred hymns will be in honour of our good shepard, The Christ who is represented by His Eminence Cardinal Ferrao.
The Vakhann’nni also had their Christmas Carol concert in December at various places in South Goa which was appreciated by all.
The Vakhann’nni group started their practices two months prior to prepare for this great celebration. They are very enthusiastic and are waiting for the day of their performance.
