Likewise, a Banyan tree came crashing down at Ward no 1 in Telaulim. A compound wall was damaged when ranother tree crashed at Aquem-Baixo. rAt Chandrawaddo-Fatorda near Durga petrol pump, there was report of a tree fall on an internal road while a compound wall was damaged at Deussa-Chinchinim in a similar incident. Yet another incident of tree fall occurred at Fatorda, rthis time at Dongorwaddo, damaging a compound wall in therprocess. rAt Pulwado-Cuncolim, a mango tree came crashing on a house while at Sanvorcotto-Cuncolim, another tree also crashed on an internal road. A Banyan tree was also uprooted at Balli. rWhile all the aforementioned trees which fell on internal roads and other places were all cleared, the clearing process of the Banyan tree at Balli was in progress at the time of going to the press.
Salcete witnesses nine incidents of trees falling
Firemen were on their toes as nine incidents of trees falling were reported in Salcete on Tuesday.
