SANGUEM
Residents from Sanguem and neighbouring areas were left without drinking water since Monday night, after the main pipeline supplying ruptured at Xelpem-Sanguem.
The work to repair the ruptured pipeline was in progress till late afternoon and water was to be restored by late Tuesday evening, informed sources.
Less than a week ago, residents were left without water supply for over two days for a similar reason, when the pipeline had also ruptured in another part of Xelpem. Residents claim that problems associated with ruptured pipelines and other issues concerning supply to Sanguem town have become a regular issue.
