SANGUEM
Sarpanchas and deputy sarpanchas at all seven panchayats in Sanguem taluka were elected unanimously on Monday. The post of sarpanch in three panchayats of Sanvordem, Rivona and Uguem was reserved for women.
Bharati Naik was elected sarpanch and Ram Phandarmissal was elected deputy sarpanch at Uguem, while Vaishali Naik and Surya Naik were elected sarpanch and deputy sarpanch respectively at Rivona.
At Sanvordem, Chinmayi Naik and Nitesh Bhandari were elected sarpanch and deputy sarpanch respectively, while Chandrakant Gaonkar and Priyanka Gaonkar were elected sarpanch and deputy respectively at Bhati.
Bunda Varak was elected sarpanch and Francisco Mascarenhas as deputy sarpanch at Netravali, while Prajyot Gaonkar and Antonette Nogueiro were elected sarpanch and deputy sarpanch respectively at Curdi-Wadem. At Kalay, Shailesh Naik and Dipti Shingadi were elected sarpanch and deputy respectively.
