Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday said the first phase of the KTC bus stand at Sankhali will be completed by April 24 and will be thrown open to the public, while work on the second phase would be taken up in stages.
Sawant was speaking after he inspected ongoing work on the KTC bus-stand at Sankhali in the presence of GSIDC officials, Deputy Collector Deepak Vaingankar, Sankhali Municipal Council Chairperson Yeshwant Madkar, Sankhali BJP Block President Gopal Surlakar and others.
“The bus stand will be thrown open in the first phase itself, for the benefit of people, while other facilities like shops, toilets, shops and other facilities will be completed in the second phase,” said Sawant.
