Sardar Patel remembered
BICHOLIM: The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs recently celebrated the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Bicholim.
A rally of school students was staged in the town. Earlier, Sankhali MLA Dr Pramod Sawant administered the oath of unity to the participants and then flagged off the rally. He was accompanied by Bicholim taluka assistant programme education officer Jenifer Gonsalves, taluka sports organiser Antania Pinto and others.
Students of Shri Shantadurga HS Bicholim, Vividha HS Navelim, Siddharh Bandodkar HS Velguem, Vijayanand HS Tikhazan-Mayem Dnynaprakash HS Mulgao and Government HSS Sankhali participated in the rally.
