Sardessai accuses Parulekar of ignoring Saligao

Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardessai has accused Saligao MLA Dilip Parulekar of doing nothing for the development of Saligao constituency except hotmixing of roads and beautification of some footpaths.
He was speaking during the Goa Forward Party's (GFP) rally at Saligao on Sunday. The rally started from Saligao junction and went all the way to Sangolda Panchayat and the party workers distributed pamphlets to the people.
MLA and GFP mentor Sardessai, GFP president Prabhaker Timble, general secretary Mohandas Lolienkar, spokespersons Prashant Naik and Durgadas Kamat participated in the rally.
Speaking on the occasion, Sardessai said Saligao MLA Dilip Parulekar has done nothing for the development of the constituency except hotmixing of roads and beautification of some footpaths.
“On the contrary, his alleged involvement in beach cleaning and land scams has brought disrepute to the people of Saligao. Time has come to give an opportunity to youth like Jayesh Salgaonkar of GFP to serve Saligao constituency,” said Sardessai.
Salgaonkar said despite being the tourism minister, Parulekar could not provide toilet facilities at Nerul and Reis Magos beaches.
“He also could not provide a good ground for the youth of Saligao, Nerul and Guriim. The people of Saligao constituency are fed up of vindictive politics of the present incumbent Parulekar,” said Salgaonkar.
