Sarvan locals demand repair of pipeline

Residents of Kulan-Sarvan have urged the PWD Bicholim to repair a water pipeline along the Bicholim-Sakhali highway at Kulan-Sarvan.

The residents said a large amount of water is being wasted at Kulan-Sarvan, as water from the main pipeline along the Bicholim-Sakhali highway flows since the last many days. Normally, there is wastage of water when the pipeline ruptures, but in this case water is flowing continuously from the main water pipeline in the morning.

The residents suspect that some people are collecting water from the pipeline.

The villagers have urged the PWD Bicholim to look into the matter and repair the water pipeline as soon as possible.
