Sattari local commits suicide
VALPOI: A 54-year-old helper in the Irrigation department from Dhatwada-Sattari allegedly committed suicide by hanging from a cashew tree behind Desai cashew factory at Dhatwada on Monday morning.
According to Valpoi Police, Tulshidas Gaude was working as a helper in the Irrigation department and the cause of suicide is said to be illness.
“As per preliminary inquiry, he was sick and was fed up of life. So far no foul play is suspected,” PI Pednekar informed.
After conducting the panchanama, the body was sent for autopsy at GMC Hospital in Bambolim and police is investigating the case.
