The party has also demanded that the chief minister investigates the awarding of tender process failing which, the organization would file a police complaint and also file a case with the Lokayukta.
Speaking to media persons on Sunday, Goa Forward spokesperson Tanveer Khatib said the tender was awarded to the company that had the highest quotation, when in fact government tenders are awarded only to the lowest competitors.
“According to our sources, out of all those that applied for the e-tender, five qualified and those included companies like Encompass, 77, TLG, TPT and Purple Focus. 77 had bid the lowest with Rs 2.14 crore but the work order is likely to be awarded to TLG at a whopping 6.55 crore,” said Khatib.
He has demanded that the Chief Minister Parsekar investigate the tender and take corrective measures.
“Failure to do so would lead the party to file a complaint with the police as well as at the Goa Lokayukta,” he warned.
