School for Special Children at Mollem
PONDA: The Lokvishwas Pratishtan, an organisation working for special children since the last three decades, will open its sixth school at Mollem on June 22.
The school will be started with initiative of the locals and with financial help of the organization ‘Just Imagine.’
Lokvishwas Pratishtan president Anup Priolkar informed this at a news briefing at Dhavali-Ponda on Tuesday. Secretary Raj Vaidya, educationist Pandurang Nadkarni and others were present.
Lokvishwas Pratishtan has schools in Ponda, Canacona, Quepem, Honda-Sattari and Marcel.
Social Welfare Minister Mahadev Naik will inaugurate the school at Mollem on June 22 at 10.30 am. Sanvordem MLA Ganesh Gaonkar, Mollem Sarpanch Kapil Kamat and Rotary Club president Prashant Kamat will also be present.
