Awareness on disabled persons

PANAJI: The office of the commissioner for persons with disabilities conducted an awareness and sensitisation programme for parking-lot attendants to secure notified spaces for the disabled, which otherwise are invariably occupied by the general public. The CCP, traffic police, contractor concerned with his team of attendants, Avelino D’Sa of DRAG, Raj Vaidhya working in disability sector have been roped in for the purpose. The awareness training was conducted by Monica Chaturvedi.

Admissions to PD courses rescheduled PANAJI: The first round of admission to MBBS and BDS courses, as notified in the prospectus and scheduled to be held on June 16, has been rescheduled. Revised schedule of admissions will be notified shortly. First round of admission to other professional courses will be conducted as per the existing schedule notified in the prospectus.
