Fr. Vincent Leitao led the team of young people and parishioners of St Joaquim Chapel in Borda and they came with a novel idea of making a life-size crib by the side of the chapel.
They started the crib well in time, a month and a half before Christmas and created a graceful ambience. Though in a small area, the crib was appealing and quite descriptive. The idea behind the life-size crib was to let known the birth of Jesus to all the communities in the area and through his birth bring in love and brotherhood among the people.
