Second round of train cancellations to, from Vasco

After having to bear up with total and partial cancellation of a number of trains to and from Vasco between December 12 and 24, passengers and taxi operators at Vasco will be affected yet again due to further disruptions in train services from January 2 and 23, 2023 during the peak tourism season.

The trains are being totally/partially cancelled in view of engineering work related to doubling of Castle Rock“Vasco section in January, states a press release from South Western Railway (SWR).

TOTAL CANCELLATION:

Train No 17310 Vasco-Yesvantpur Daily Express will be cancelled from January 2 to 20.

Train No 17309 Yesvantpur-Vasco Daily Express will be cancelled from January 3 to 21.

Train No 17315 Vasco-Velankanni Weekly Express will be cancelled on January 9 and 16.

Train No 17316 Velankanni-Vasco Weekly Express will be cancelled on January 10 and 17.

Train No 17419 Tirupati-Vasco Weekly Express and Train No 17021 Hyderabad-Vasco Express will be cancelled on January 12 and 19 respectively.

Train No 17420 Vasco-Tirupati Weekly Express and Train No 17022 Vasco-Hyderabad Weekly Express will be cancelled on January 13 and 20 respectively.

Train No 17321 Vasco-Jasidih Weekly Express will be cancelled on January 13 and 20.

Train No 17322 Jasidih-Vasco Weekly Express will be cancelled on January 16 and 23.

Train No 00631 Vasco-Azara Parcel Cargo Express will be cancelled on January 13 and 20.

Train No 00632 Azara-Vasco Parcel Cargo Express will be cancelled on January 18 and 25.

PARTIAL CANCELLATION:

Train No 18047 Shalimar-Vasco Amaravati Express commencing journey from Shalimar on January 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16 & 17 will be partially cancelled between Hubballi“Vasco and it will be short terminated at Hubballi and Kacheguda-Vasco slip coaches of Train No 17603 commencing journey from Kacheguda on January 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17 & 18 will also be partially cancelled between Hubballi-Vasco.

Train No 18048 Vasco-Shalimar Amaravati Express commencing journey from Vasco on January 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19 & 20 will be partially cancelled between Vasco-Hubballi and it will be originated from Hubballi instead of Vasco and Vasco-Kacheguda slip coaches of Train No 17604 commencing journey on January 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19 & 20 will also be partially cancelled between Vasco-Hubballi.

Train No 12780 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Vasco Superfast Express commencing journey from Hazrat Nizamuddin from 6 to 18 will be partially cancelled between Belagavi-Vasco and it will be short terminated at Belagavi.

Train No 12779 Vasco-Hazrat Nizamuddin Superfast Express commencing journey from Vasco from January 8 to 20 will be partially cancelled between Vasco-Belagavi and it will be originated from Belagavi instead of Vasco.
