Security guard commits suicide
CORTALIM: A security guard from West Bengal, but residing at Velvado-Quelossim, allegedly committed suicide on Sunday.
According to the police attached to Cortalim Outpost, the body of Badirul Alam, who was working as a security guard at Velvado, was found hanging in a decomposed state in his room. No injury was found on his body.
Police also informed that Badirul was deployed for duty in a private property. The police conducted the crime site cum inquest panchanama. The body has been preserved in the morgue at GMC Hospital in Bambolim for post-mortem investigations. Further police investigations are in progress.
