Session on healthy lifestyle held for GHRDC security staff

A session on the importance of a healthy lifestyle was delivered to 258 senior security officers, security officers and security staff of Goa Human Resource Development Corporation (GHRDC) by the St John Ambulance Goa at Porvorim on Tuesday.
St John Ambulance Goa General Secretary Jovito Lopes highlighted the need to make smart choices like good nutrition, eating right, getting physically fit, adequate sleep, proper stress management, display of love and compassion, joyful relationships, positive thoughts and attitudes and viewpoints coupled with spiritual wellness.
The key message was on prevention of as many health problems that can be prevented or at least postponed with a healthy lifestyle, which should be made part of one’s day-to-day living, he added.
Earlier, GHRDC General Manager John Aguiar also spoke on the occasion.
