Shadow Council for Margao has once again reminded the authorities about the urgent need for additional vaccination centers in Margao.
SCM Convener Savio Coutinho submitted a demand in this regard to the Chief Minister and the South Goa District Collector.
He said that Madgaonkars were amused to notice neighbouring constituencies announcing additional vaccination centres while Margao continues with a single centre.
“We are equally amused to notice that apart from the single demand from the Fatorda MLA to set up a vaccination centre at the farthest corner of the constituency, there are absolutely no suggestions or demands forthcoming from our representatives for additional centres within the jurisdiction of the Margao Municipal Council,” Coutinho lamented.
