Cuncolim MLA Clafacio Dias on Saturday said the Covid care centre proposed at the Cuncolim commercial complex is ready with infrastructure and logistics and will start functioning no sooner the government deploys the required manpower.
The Cuncolim MLA inspected the centre along with councillors, former chairperson Polita Carneiro, Vishal Desai and others to take stock of the situation.
The MLA later told the media that Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has told him to arrange all the infrastructure and logistics. “The CM has requested me to keep the logistics ready even though the cases are coming down,” he said.
