SHG launched in Karapur
BICHOLIM: Speaker Anant Shet said self help groups play a vital role in promoting development of the village, town or the city and such groups, which signifies the unity and strength of women, should be supported.
He was speaking after inaugurating the Omkar self help group at Karapur-Tisk, Bicholim. North Goa ZP president Ankita Navelkar, self help group president Sushma Sawant and others were present on the occasion.
Navelkar called upon the women to dedicate themselves to the social cause.
Kishore Shirgaonkar and Sushma Sawant also spoke on the occasion.
