Bicholim
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has strongly criticised the Congress party, accusing it of plundering the nation’s resources over the past six decades. Speaking at a campaign event for North Goa BJP candidate Shripad Naik in Bicholim, Sawant asserted that the time has come to bid farewell to Congress rule in India.
Highlighting the achievements of the BJP during its tenure, Sawant emphasised that significant progress had been made in all sectors within just ten years. He expressed confidence in the BJP’s ability to continue leading the country for the next 25 years, urging the public to support the party.
Addressing the gathering, Sawant outlined plans for further development in the Sanquelim constituency. He mentioned proposals for IT projects in collaboration with local communities, demonstrating the government’s commitment to modernising the region.
Asserting the BJP’s commitment to prioritising the nation’s interests, Sawant dismissed accusations levelled by Rahul Gandhi against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He reaffirmed the party’s dedication to fostering equal development opportunities for all religious communities.
Union Minister Shripad Naik, who has garnered public support for 25 years, echoed Sawant’s sentiments, emphasising the BJP’s track record in promoting education, healthcare, infrastructure, and various development projects. Naik also engaged with constituents at local temples, receiving feedback from the community.
