Silent people should speak for betterment of State: Gadkari

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Monday interacted with the Goan Industrialists on the 'Gati Shakti Master Plan' at Dona Paula. 

The Union Minister suggested, "Majority of the people are supporting different projects in the State. But these people are silent. Silent people should speak up for the betterment of the State".

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho, EDC Chairman Sadanand Shet Tanavade, J Ashok Kumar, IAS, Secy Industries, Trade & Commerce, Rajkumar Kamat and other dignitaries were also present for the interaction programme.

Union Minister Gadkari informed, "Mumbai to Goa and Goa to Karnataka is an important road transport connectivity project for Goa and Rs 18,000 crore has been sanctioned for the same. Also, Rs 25,000 crore is sanctioned for different projects for the State of Goa". 

Zuari Bridge would be a 'State of art Bridge' for Goa, he said.

Gadkari dedicates missing link of NH 566 to the nation

PANAJIUnion Minister for Road, Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari dedicated to the Nation a 4-lane section from Loutolim village to Verna Industrial Estate on National Highway 566 at a public function held at Verna on Monday.
