2.9 lakh families registered under AAP power guarantee programme: Kejriwal

PANAJI

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said 2.9 lakh families in the State have registered under the electricity guarantee programme of the AAP, which is 70-75 per cent of the population of Goa.

“The 2.9 lakh families, i.e. 70-75% of Goa’s population, who have registered under the electricity guarantee programme, and the 1.12 lakh young people who have registered so far under our employment guarantee programme are proof of the faith the people of Goa have already invested in the AAP. And we promise to live up to this faith,” said Kejriwal while addressing a news conference.

“I say ‘Yeh Kejriwal ki guarantee hai, yeh puri hoke rahegi’ (It’s Kejriwal’s promises, will definitely be realised). So I would once again say, trust us. We will together form the government, after which we will implement all these declarations without fail: will ensure employment, and its allowance until employed.”
