Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal arrived to a warm welcome, as a large number of supporters went to greet him at Goa Airport on Monday.
Party office bearers, local leaders and supporters were present at the airport with flowers, garlands and flags, as they shouted AAP slogans ahead of Kejriwal visit.
Speaking to reporters, AAP Goa Convenor Rahul Mhambre said a large number of Goans had now been looking at AAP as the only alternative for clean politics and good governance
"Every time Kejriwal has arrived in Goa, he has made a visionary statement which has been well received by people and even forced Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to make announcements on free water.” “Thereafter, Kejriwal made a statement on jobs and we saw Sawant announcing 10,000 jobs," said Mhambre.
Mhambre said a lot of people were joining the AAP, including entrepreneurs.
