‘Sindhudurg Live’ Editor-in-Chief Sagar Chavan was on Monday presented with the prestigious ‘Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Award Covid Warrior 2020’ for his exemplary work during the Covid pandemic.
The award was presented to Chavan at a function in Hotel Peninsula in Andheri-Mumbai organised by Kalyanji Jana on behalf of Dadasaheb Phalke Award Films. The event was attended by several well-known personalities in various fields.
The ‘Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Award Covid Warrior 2020’ has been instituted by Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Award Films to honour actors of the film industry, editors of print media, journalists, scientists, NGOs and others for their exemplary work to help the poor and the needy people during the Covid pandemic.
