VASCO
Vasco police received information that vandals had damaged the windscreen and windows of the cars near the Gurudwara and along the compound wall of the military engineering service at Mangor. Police later registered a non-cognizable offence in the incident.
“We will intensify night patrolling in the area and keep a strict watch on any untoward incidents, to avoid law and order problems,” said Vasco PI Nolasco Raposo.
Locals from the area have attributed the damage to the stationary vehicles to some previous enmity over parking of vehicles.
“It cannot be the job of a lunatic as the vehicles were selectively damaged and we suspect that someone had done it on purpose,” said
one local.
