Slogan writing contest conducted

PANAJI: As part of the curriculum, Our Lady Of Divar High school, Divar, organized a history slogan writing competition for the students of the school. Students wrote different slogan given by our national leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose, etc, during India’s freedom struggle.

Joswell Vaz of Class VII won the first prize for the competition whereas Tanya Oliviera and Richa Pilgaonkar were awarded the second and third prizes respectively. Headmaster Mario Moraes gave away the prizes during the celebration of Children Day in the school. History teacher Anthony D’Lima was the main organizer of the competition.
