Solo dance contest held at Sakhali
BICHOLIM: Ashwet Pilarnkar (Vasco) won the first prize (below 12 years), while Saish Naik (Aldona) won the first place (above 12 years) in the solo dance competition organised by Omkar Creations Sakhali at Saptashati Bhumika Mandap, Sakhali.
Pratik Wadkar (Sakhali), Laxmi Morajkar (Mapusa) and Disha Desai (Ponda) won the next three prizes in the below 12 years category, while Anisha Pilarnkar (Vasco), Disha Desai (Algona) and Santosh Vaghmode (Valpoi) won the other three prizes in the other category.
The contest was adjudged by Gulnar Palekar, Shivani Sawal and Saima Aga. In all, 20 participants took part in each category.
Prizes were distributed by Pradeep Shet, Siddhesh Juvekar, Shirish Bhagne, Nisha Pokle and Sushma Sawant.
Nisha Pokle and Sushma Sawant compered the function, while Siddharth Malik proposed the vote of thanks.
