It may be recalled that Sopte visited the Khajangundo sluice gate at Parsem which was beautified by Parsekar. After inspecting the work, Sopte criticised the work.
Addressing a news conference at Parsem, Kalangutkar said Parsekar made the old sluice gate a new tourist spot and many tourists and locals visit the place.
“The repair of the Parsem Khajangundo was the long-pending demand of farmers,” added Kalangutkar.
“The MLA should not criticise the projects undertaken by the earlier MLAs and should try to undertake new projects,” he said.
