The South Goa Child Welfare Committee, which also met the Commission, described its own working conditions as inadequate. Its members cited insufficient seating, no transport for inspections and poor internet connectivity, besides other basic infrastructure gaps. They also told the Commission that their honorarium had not been paid for three months.
The Commission observed that issues involving policy decisions or legal matters should appropriately be taken up by the concerned CWC authorities with the government for necessary consideration.
