Questioning the government’s logic in resuming offline classes from Monday, South Goa MP Francisco Sardinha has urged the Education Department to immediately stop the classes.
Demanding to know the urgency behind reopening the schools when the academic year is scheduled to end within two months, Sardinha said the government called for vaccination of the children below the age of 15 years.
He has called for continuing the offline mode of education till the Covid situation returns to normal.
“The schools will reopen in June. I fail to understand why there’s so much urgency from the government in reopening the schools”, he wondered.
