Citizens rights activist and actor Gaurav Bakshi was accused on Wednesday on charges of threatening Fisheries Minister Nilkanth Halarnkar and manhandling his OSD at Revora.
Bakshi, who hails from Delhi but is based in Goa, has filed a counter complaint accusing the minister and his OSD of threatening him.
According to reports, the incident took place at about 4.15 pm when Halarnkar had gone to attend a sapling distribution programme organised by the Revora panchayat.
An altercation broke out between the minister’s OSD and Bakshi over the parking of their respective vehicles.
A Colvale police team rushed to the site and summoned Bakshi to the police station.
Halarnkar’s OSD later filed a police complaint against Bakshi who, in turn, filed a counter complaint against Halarnkar and his staff.
