State bags 7 SKOCH awards for public-centric initiatives

State govt honoured for reforms in public welfare, governance and technology

The State government has been recognised with seven SKOCH Awards for reforms and innovative initiatives aimed at improving public services under the leadership of CM Pramod Sawant.

The awards were conferred for projects across multiple departments:

- Finance Department: Data Analytical Cell – Kosh data management platform.

- Goa Waste Management Corporation: State initiatives in waste management.

- Sports Department: Khelo Goa centres.

- Women & Child Development: Improving childhood nutrition through anganwadis.

- Technical Education: Coding and robotics education in schools.

- Police Department: Spot the Scam initiative and Radical Content Analyser.

- Legal Metrology: Packers Registration-cum-FSSAI licence camp for self-help groups.

The SKOCH Awards are presented following an independent and outcome-based assessment process. Goa’s achievement reflects the State government’s focus on leveraging technology, improving governance and enhancing public welfare through targeted interventions.
